Checkers: the movie

Here's a little video Cole tried to take of himself winning checkers on Webkinz. Hopefully you will appreciate his avant-garde and independent style....but what else would one expect from Cole?

What could be better than going to the farmer's market and picking out corn for dinner? Shucking it!

Cole loves to take the husks off of the corn. The intense look here is due to the fact that one ear of corn was the white variety, the rest bi-color. He wants to find the white one before Avery does. But as you can see, the fun ends there. He is not such a fan once he uncovers the silk inside.

A very friendly butterfly that frequents our garden.

We went to the Indiana Dunes with our friends. It was soooooooooo fun.

Avery collected some rocks.

We climbed the big hill.

block party

The annual block party is the most exciting thing in the whole entire universe for Cole. One of the best parts, besides being allowed to play in the street, and besides the bouncy, and besides the cupcakes, is the visit from Engine 12 (also his very favorite number) and getting to spray the hose. How cool is that!?

I'm back!

Well, sort of. By popular demand, Cole's blog is being updated. But I ("Mommy")will be doing it on his behalf since he is busy living his life instead of documenting it! Here are a few pictures from that last few weeks.

LegoLand Factory.

A day at Millenium Park.

The mini-donut machine at the farmer's market. Nothing says farm-fresh like a hot greasy donut. Mmmmmm!

Corn and beans for everyone!

Did you ever know that an owl can drive?

5.05.2008

This will tell you what's been going on!

It was cool watching this dinosaur hatch out of its egg. It was not real!

This is a street sweeper. It went all around our court. We drew an X on the street to see if it cleaned it off but it did not.

This is a wonderful vacuum because it vacuums up all of the dirt in like six seconds. It came from Kohl's I think and I like it there because it sounds like my name but it doesn't have the same letters as my name.

Mommy took this picture because we went on the train for a field trip.

Cole is temporarily unavailable...

I am not going to blog for one week because I will be a little tired because one grandma and my grandpa will be over at our house. Check back in a week and look at the blog in one week for more of my exciting news.

My mom didn't make this cake. I put it on here because it has real M&M's on it and it also looks like a package of M&M's and the fake M&M's are made of cupcakes. I think that this cake I would like to eat!

This is a helicopter dropping the hook in this picture.

Let's see. We were going to get gas and we saw a helicopter. We don't usually see helicopters so it was pretty exciting for me. Then we had to drive around lots of obstacle coursey things to get closer to the helicopter. I want to tell you that we had to drive through the mud so it is a good thing we have 4 wheel drive! Then Mommy parked the car and we kept on watching it and it was moving stuff around in the air with the rope and hook. They would hook on the box and then the helicopter would lift it and put it on the roof. They dropped the rope and hook by flying over the road somehow. Then we went to Sam's Club and saw a forklift.

The Jelly Bean Factory

Today we went to the Jelly Belly factory. On the way there we saw two slug bugs next to each other and when we got there we saw a slug bug that was painted in jelly beans!

At the factory we went in a train that went around the whole Jelly Belly factory. On the shelves were sugar and boxes of jelly beans. We got samples. My favorite is the cantaloupe kind.

We drove to the lake and that picture is of me dancing at that big lake in Wisconsin. And that is where the Jelly Belly factory is. I picked up smooth rocks at the beach.

We are by the Easter Bunny at the mall and we were standing outside in this picture.

We were by the Easter Bunny and that is all I really want to say.
